Kavala is a picturesque coastal city in Northern Greece, known for its rich history, beautiful beaches and lively port. Founded in the 7th century BC, it flourished during Roman and Byzantine times and was an important Ottoman fortress. Key attractions include the impressive Kamares Aqueduct, the Byzantine fortress and the old quarter of Panagia with its narrow streets.
